- I am a retired library science teacher.
I was a professor of library and information science at the University of Alabama from 1989-2007. I was dean of the School of Computer, Information and Library Science of Pratt Institute, New York City from 1987-89. I was Associate Director for Technical and Computer Services at The New York Public Library from 1969-87.
